Reasons Why I Am Bad…

27

I did a bad thing today. It’s been a weird week what with Memorial Day and all. I got backed up. My google reader overflowed (or overflew?  A ruling?). Today I just…I just hit “mark all as read.” It was too much. Now I wish I had a “mark all as read” for my life. Like laundry. Too full? Just push a button and *poof* down to zero!

Ugh.

Also…I’m trying to be good in a veggie and no junk food kind of way. I’m feeling the Call of the Honeybuns people. Seriously. You hear it too right? It’s not just me. And also…I found this site. I want to move to England now.

  1. It’s “overflowed.”

Personally, I think the BumbleO looks better than the Honeybuns. But that might be because I just ate three bags of Famous Amos cookies and have reached my sugar limit for the moment.

I think it’s MY GOOGLE READER PLUMB BUSTED.

  3. Kelley says:

My feedreader is full to capacity and my belly is full of onion rings…

Should be my feedreader is empty and my belly is full of apple or some other boring fibrous food…

  4. furiousBall says:

i’ve done that before too, there’s no shame in doing so, it’s ok. now pass me a jumbo iced honey bun

  5. Those Honey Buns are calling out to me.

  6. Greta says:

KP – Thanks. But I’m pretty sure it’s “overflied.” :) Also, what’s a sugar “limit”?

MizF – That sounds hard to clean up.

    Kelley – Someday…someday

FB – Get your own. These are mfmmmmfn (get it…mouth is full of honeybuns)

MPM – I know, right? Also nothing but badness can result in them selling ‘em in bulk like that.

  7. Mama Zen says:

    I’m hearing the call!

  8. annbb says:

BE STRONG, WOMAN, BE STRONGER THAN THE HONEY BUN!!!

    Greta:
I’m putting this here because I don’t know how to email
you. How did you get your twitter bar to look like that?
All mine shows is my own twitters, and my logo doesn’t
show either. I’d love to have mine look like yours with
not only me but the people I follow on it. HELP!
    Thx! abb

(after you’ve answered my question (hint hint) just
delete this as it has nothing to do with your post,(duh!)

  10. noble pig says:

I’ll take three boxes of those please!

  11. GretaKiki says:

    Noble Pig and Mama Zen…word!

Annbb – nothing is stronger than the call of the honeybun.

  12. Jocelyn says:

And in return, I’m glad to have found you. See, I knew there was a reason I’ve never gotten around to setting up a Reader; then I’d have to figure out the right verbiage for ignoring it.

Just say it “spewed” and be done with it, eh?

    You’re a hoot!

  13. Nicole says:

I couldn’t hear the call of honey buns over the shrieking of bags full of buffalo chicken fingers.

  14. GretaKiki says:

Jocelyn – kewl! Seriously though, about that avatar blinking at me ;)

Nic – I think they’re angry when they shriek. I don’t like them when they’re angry.

  15. MizFit says:

saw yer comment over at weighting game and had to leave you a message.
for some reason, growing up, my mom (alljewish :) ) would
    frequently make the comment:

JEWS AND CATHOLICS. WE JUST “GET” EACH OTHER.

now I realize it was the guilt thang.

  16. Greta says:

Also big nosy families with tons of drama. ;)

  17. Shelley says:

Wow, they sell ‘em by the case over there? Then again, they’re paying the equilvalent of $10 a gallon for gas in England (so it said on the news this morning), so I’m thinking the cost of gas would be outweighed by the savings you’re getting by buying the Honey Buns in bulk? I know that made no sense, but I know there’s a correlation there somewhere. You know, between Honey Buns and gas.

  18. Manager Mom says:

how about, your google reader “kerfluffled?”

  19. Greta says:

Shelley – If I had to fill my honeybus w/ gas…I would never go anywhere. Because of the eating of them.

    MM- Love it!

  20. honey buns are awesome. Not as good as zebra cakes, but damned close.

  21. Kel says:

I’ve never eaten one of those.

I wish I could say that I’ve never had a honey bun
in my life because of my power of restraint and a love
of only the good, healthy food. But really I am
    allergic to cinnamon.

  22. Greta says:

Sassy – I go nuts for those holiday themed cakes Little Debbie puts out.

Kel – No apple pie? No cinnamon rolls? I’m actually crying as I type this.

  23. Greta says:

Oooh also…I meant to post today but had computer issues. It was gonna be awesome. Another body part that looks like a famous person (I totally have a birthmark that looks like Spongebob!). I’ll have to save it.

But…tune in tomorrow a.m. I went to see Chad again yesterday. Rar!

  24. Kiki says:

annbb – as the technical guru (HAHAHAHAHA)on the twitter thing.. it was an option that said show all tweets and then you could adjust the colors (it was the middle option of the show your tweets)

i picked colors that I thought matched our little home and then dropped the code into the sidebar

    is that making sense?

  25. mamatulip says:

You can’t read ‘em all. Sometimes you just have to mark them all as read and start fresh the next day. You’re definitely not the only one.
