Old Time Wok and Rolls
Recently the legendary Billy Joel’s lovely wife Katie Lee Joel came out with a cook book called The Comfort Table. A while back comic giant Jerry Seinfeld’s also lovely wife, Jessica, put together a best seller called Deceptively Delicious. Before that Ted Nugent’s wife Shemane (she’s lovely) penned a how-to cook book for preparing wild game.
That’s pretty much all the research I need on how to become a cook book author. Why do I want to write a cook book? Well you see lifestyle empires don’t launch themselves and the cook book appears to be a good first step to get the empire rolling.
Um, luckily, I am married to a rock and roll legend. Yesiree. I am Mrs. Bob Seger. His hit Night Moves, that’s about me. Rock and Roll Never forgets, when Bob sings “sweet sixteen turned 31,” me too.
And seeing as I am Kiki Seger, or as my friends and the band call me, Mrs. Bob Seger, I am coming out with a cook book.
Mrs. Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Cook Book is currently in the works and it will be filled with Kiki’s Kitchen Klassiks and dishes inspired by my life as the lovely wife of a rock and roll legend. And since this is a dieting blog I promise nothing in the book will make you look fat. Unless you eat 20 in one sitting. (Which you might! My Like a Rock Brownies are just that good.)

Disclaimer: Kiki is not Mrs. Bob Seger nor is she 31. She does however “feel a little tired, feeling under the gun.” Kiki is a huge Bob Seger fan and hopes he doesn’t mind her little joke here, homage really. Bob Seger should be flattered and if he’d like to write a song about Kiki that would be fine. And also to the real Mrs. Bob Seger, you should totally write a cook book.
