My First Week on Weight Watchers
I’ve been good. I swear. I get 22 points a day (which is I think, “roughly” the equivalent of 1300 calories… though WW does it all scientific and factors in fiber, fat, taste, baseline neurosis of the eater etc.) I get 35 “flex” points per week (which means…Greta…don’t give up…even if you break down and honeybun it on Thursday…incidentally…I did not).
Ok. So…I lost about a pound. Not so great. Not a gain, but I was hoping for more of a jump start. Ok…but I need a ruling. W/out getting graphic and scaring off the menfolk…there have been hormones at play. So, maybe I was really set to gain 3 or 4 due to the aforementioned hormones and in fact, did not gain and even lost 1.
Good. Right?? RIGHT?????!!!!!
Oh…and if anyone was wondering, the answer is 20 minutes.*
The question? How long does it take for those little keyboard square imprints to fade from your forehead flesh?






For a minute I thought the question was going to be, “How long does it take this scale to register that someone is standing on it?”

A loss is a loss, honey! Great job just the same. If it was water weight, you’ll show a bigger loss next week. Just don’t do what I do and eat away your sorrows at what you feel is a small loss.

I gained a pound this week… and its the same time of the month for me as well. NORMALLY I would have gained 3-5 lbs so I’m betting you’ll have a bigger weight loss next week girlie!!! WOOT

Good job! Due to my hormone changes this week, I should have lost 3 or 4 pounds. Did not happen. Yet. I’m going to start the diuretics early tomorrow before afternoon weigh in.
Hey there – you’re doing better than Mental P and me! We’ve been doing the yo-yo approach to Weight Watchers for the last 8 week – you know, lose 2 lbs., gain 3, lose 3 gain 2. Yep, for 8 weeks of WW I have a grand total I’ve lost 7 pounds…and gained 5.4 for a grand total of a 1.6 pound loss. Hurrah for me! (sigh)
