The 32 Days of Christmas: Day 2 Tip

I haven’t weighed in since Thanksgiving. I don’t think I’m getting on the scale again until Friday. Mercy!

But…today, I burned through my plastic on Cyber Monday. And, {bites fingertips} I bought a holiday outfit. It’s from Chadwicks (see photo). A black silk/cashmere sweater and and purple satin skirt. I totally have no hope of looking like the catalog cover model. Well…because it’s not 1994. Oh…and she’s probably wearing a size 2. But…she’s so cute!!!!! I’m delusional, but it’s keeping me honest. I only ate 18 WW points today.

I’ll report back after the thing arrives. And I try it on.

{fingertips = bloody stumps….oh crap, that’s probably 2 more points right there}

    it IS the new black?

    who knew I was hip —- and everyone says to give stuff away if you dont wear it for a year.

    Purple is SO the new black! I just bought some adorable pruple flats yesterday…or rather, plum. Yes, plum. Anyways, I have never been a shoe hound, but they are the only thing I can’t get to fat for these days:)

    But, I love the outfit, I think it will look amazing for the holidays!

    I have a whole closet of goal outfits. Nothing fits because I went back up a size. I will be damned if I’m digging my fat clothes out of that basement!

    Love your blog! I have very slowly lost 15 pounds (post menopausal weight loss is a slow slog) and would like to (more quickly if possible) lose another 10-15. Instead of goal outfits I have jeans. I am now rather uncomfortably in my so old they’re unfashionable skinny jeans. And I also have what I refer to as my “Holy Grail Jeans” which I bought 9 years ago when I was at my lowest weight in years, thinking I’d lose another 10 pounds and they’d be perfect. So far I’ve yet to wear them. But they’re still hanging around, moved from a storage bin in my attic to my dresser during my recent weight loss. I hope to be able to wear them (even if I no longer care for the style) next summer, just so I can say – YES! I DID IT!

    Not sure how many calories in a nibbled fingernail but they are made of the same stuff as human hair, right? and we lose a bunch of hair every day so maybe if you chew your nails you break even on that score.

    Ragged nails make me nutso. I have plans all drawn up for “Clipper on a Chain”, a nail clipper necklace for those of us who can’t stand to go 15 seconds with a broken fingernail.

    You wanna be a Beta tester for the prototype?
