I’ve been eating FullBar this week to help manage my appetite. The company gave me one week’s supply to review for the blog. Here’s what I think about the product.

Taste: I liked it. I’m not a big fan of granola bars or energy bars but I thought the FullBar tasted good. It is also large so you can’t just wolf it down. I enjoyed sitting and eating my FullBar with a tall glass of water.

AquaFull: The company also has a water additive to help you manage your appetite. I really like this product. It helped me get my waters in for the day and it tasted good.

FullBar and Food: FullBar is designed to mimic the fullness experienced by people who’ve had bariatric or bypass surgery. It is supposed to make you too full to over eat, or cheat. The product does make you full. But I did cheat (or go “off plan” for the PC among us) one day while eating the FullBar. I wanted the bar to make it  impossible to overeat. Unfortunately it is always possible to cheat. However, the best day I had on the FullBar was the day I ate it before going out to eat. I ignored bread on the table and ate 1/3 of an entree that I ordered. I credit the FullBar for that, completely.

Recommendation:This is the first time I tried a product to that claimed to fill you up. FullBar helped me discover something new about my dieting.  I think I can really benefit from  eating something filling but “low cal” and drinking water before my meals. The FullBar recommends eating the bar 30 minutes before your meal. Doing this helped me figure out if I was “hungry” or just eating to eat.  If you’re having a tough time figuring out if you’re full FullBar, or something similar, might help.  Also, I highly recommend AquaFull. It is my favorite item from the company. It really helped me handle an afternoon desire to binge and helped me get my water in.

Weight Loss:I stayed the same on my weight this week but I started the bar on Monday. I plan to continue using it until Monday so look for actual numbers Monday morning. Remember I was 1?6 when I started and am still that number.  Just keeping it real here, I’m not shrinking down or anything. But after decades of dieting I learned something about managing my hunger and fullness thanks to FullBar. And I’m pretty sure I will add the AquaFull to my daily water intake.
