Kahiki Egg Rolls
One food item that really gets me messed up on counting calories is Chinese food. I never know how to count it, an
d I always eat too much. I love eggrolls but when I’m really trying to journal and “be good” I avoid them. Until now, I received a sample of Kahiki Egg Rolls. They are all 100 calories or less, have no fat, and no MSG. PLUS you use my favorite kitchen appliance to make them, the micro! Yep, just nuke ‘em for 2 1/2 minutes and you’re good to go. Right now you can get coupons on their website if you’re thinking.. hmm.. I feel like Chinese tonight.

I love Trader Joe’s Chicken Egg Rolls. 130 cals, 3g fat, 1g of Fiber – 3 pts for 1 eegg roll (versus 2 for the Kahiki Egg Rolls – although I believe the TJ’s are a bit larger). They hit the spot when I need a healthy snack. Just nuke for a few minutes and dip in bit of spicy chili sauce. Yum!
