Going Popless
I mentioned how I was going to give up Diet Soda Pop? Well I’m on day thirteen. So far so good. Here’s my newspaper column this week on the shedding of this vice. Today’s a day for congratulating ourselves on our dieting accomplishments. Come on. You know you did well at something the last week. Did you walk? Avoid the vending machine? Get a salad instead of a Pizza? Let share it, celebrate it, and do it again this week. And if you had a bad week, rest assured that it is still not officially spring so I’m good with all of us wearing the big sweater/turtleneck until at least the first crocuses show up, perhaps until the Fourth of July.

That is so awesome and encouraging. I have to give up the diet soda. It is very hard. Thank you for all your tips and great laughs! Muah!
I’ve tried in the past, but I can’t. I think my record was something like 19 days. My daughter gave up all carbonated beverages for lent. Three years ago. Hasn’t had one since.
Somehow, I have been able to shake myself up my diet soda habit-I have a 12 pack of diet root beer that’s been sitting in my garage for months, unopened, and every time I pass it, I feel a little proud of myself! I still need to drink more water because for many years, diet 7-up was my main source of hydration.
It is hard to Stop Smoking at all but i tried so hard to quit smoking because of the fear of lung cancer *
lung cancer can be avoided if you stay out of air pollutants like some chemicals and tobacco smoke.-:~
lung cancer is almost alway caused by heavy cirgarette smoking,*,
when you smoke too much, then you are at risk from lung cancer so stay away from developing a bad habit of cigarette smoking -`,
