Well the Terminator season is over so I’ll have to wait to verify my hunch but I am pretty sure the whole “robots take over the earth and kill all the humans” scenario gets started with these automated scales. As in Skynet starts with a bathroom scale (roughly…).

I taunt my scale by not using it. I have been stress eating over a realty deal that devolved into a legal hassle for weeks now and even though that has resolved, haven’t sold th property yet so am apparently holding my common sense hostage until then. OR I will have to appear in daylight hours in a swim suit without a tent to use as camo and that will trigger a return to more sensible intake.

Whatev. Celebrate the good news – (only not with wine and a tray full of cheese perhaps).

I would get a new scale. I love my new one!…the scale, not the numbers it displays! anyway, it is a digital weight watchers/Conair, it has a save/recall button for up to 6 numbers (really great for those good days!) it is thin and has a handle to easily carry it. you shouldn’t leave it in the bathroom. I got it at kohl’s and have seen them at meijer. It is around $35. Good Luck!

6 for sure! And there is a rumor that the Dr. scales actually add 4 lbs. as well, stupid old machines. So if I am reading this right, take the 3 and add 4! That’s my kind of calculation.

So I do believe I can just go with 6 pounds.

And Luna just so you know the scale had recently begun to read heavy so that’s why the hubby checked it.

And Kelley I love the Wii so I do have my eye on the Wii Fit.

Kyddryn and noble pig I am SO glad you said I could go with six… even if it’s not true I’m going to cling to it. I makes me feel successful. A dieting beast. The number one thing that makes me go off my diet is not having success. Total dichotomy but walking around feeling like I accomplished something is worth.. something. I think.

Get a Wii Fit, it weighs you as well as telling you how pretty you are. Well not really, but it is fun. The BMI thing not so much though…
