Walk-It ChallengeI could make you go to the end of the post but I know you’re busy. Here’s the bottom line. If you comment on this post before the end of the day on May 3rd you’ll be entered to win THREE FREE MONTHS of WEIGHT WATCHERS! If you win you get to choose online or at meeting membership. What better way to rock that whole Not Another Fat Summer? Just think if you only lost one pound a week for twelve weeks! That’s one and a half sizes smaller than you are right now.

On that note I weighed in today and after not doing Weight Watchers for a long time. I agreed to go back because of the Walk It Challenge. SO I’m using their online training tools and counting my points.

I will admit I didn’t so great with the points this week. In fact I would say I only journal-ed for 70% of the week. Walk It did keep me motivated to run one day, walk two days, and I even did a session of Pilates. But the not being an angel on points had me worried for the scale. Oh and I was so bad about liquids.

But I lost 4.2 pounds!!!!! What the heck? So how’d I do it? Well sure, I had gained during vacation so some of that weight hadn’t had a chance to establish a permanent spot on my body. And the first week at Weight Watchers is usually a big week. But still I’ll take it right? We’ll see how week two, which is usually bad for me, goes.

    I wouldn’t mind a few free months. :D I am actually a member of weight watchers now, tho, so I don’t know if the free months would count towards someone who’s about 10 pounds from goal (after losing ~80 pounds thus far…)

    Still, it’s a good program and the Walk It Challenge is a good starting point! After all, I started with walking a mere mile and now am up to doing 11 miles in a day :D

    Awesome! My card just ran out and I have 2 days “off” online until I refill my CC I use for my WW!

    While the walk it challenge is kind of hard for me due to a disability from cancer, i am committed to get my butt moviing somehow and count some type of movement/walk!

    I need to lose 10lbs. to be at goal. I think getting back to ww is the best thing I can do. I love the program. It worked for me before and it will work now. Great giveaway!

    Christine you are so correct. Getting back to WW is definitely the right move. What other program can u eat normal food, living a normal life, with simply re-learning HOW to eat and still lose weight or maintain?! WW is, in my book, the best program out there.
