I did it.

I’ve been quiet lately because I didn’t want to jinx myself…but I did it (almost). I’ve been religiously eating low carb and trying to up my activity level for 10 weeks. I’ve lost 12 pounds. I would like to lose 3 more this month before I achieve my “goal” weight. (I put the ” ” around goal because really, I’d like to lose another 15 lbs, but it isn’t going to happen. Not unless I build myself a time machine and go back 15 years.)

Anyway…I wore a bikini to the community pool on the 4th of July. I wish I were brave like Kirsti and Valerie (and had the benefit of air brushers and professional hair and make up people) and could post an ACTUAL picture…but here’s as close as I’m going to get. Meet virtual bikini me.

It’s pretty close. Except I have mushier arms and my belly button area has a more raisin-esque quaility. (Also, my mother tells me I need to improve my gut-sucking-in muscles.)

But…I did it.

 

Seriously though, I should work for George Lucas.  I got me some wicked CGI skills right??
