What to Eat While Getting Ready to Eat
Does this ever happen to you? You’ve had a perfect day on your plan. You’ve wisely chosen each morsel, eaten only when you were hungry, hydrated, and exercised. It’s dinner and you’re all set to prepare a perfectly on plan dinner. And then while you prepare your local, organic, light dinner you go snack crap crazy. A few pieces of cheese, a touch of the potato, a nibble of the chicken, perhaps your entire hand goes into your mouth. Thusly you’ve blown your whole day. Well here are a few tips to get you through the Cooking Dinner Danger Zone!
1. Chug a glass of water before you go in the kitchen. Do it.
2. Go in the garage and take a big whiff. You know there’s something in there that’ll make you quesy.
3. Put on a pair of really tight shorts. Ones that make you lose your will to live.
4. Eat three carrots. Do it.
5. Spin around in a circle several times like you’re going to turn into Wonder Woman. That’ll make you quesy.
6. Go in the kids’ bathroom. You know there’s something in there that’ll make you quesy.

Good luck and dont’ forget we have a cookbook and several recipes here for you.

“Does this ever happen to you?” That’s like asking, “Do you ever sleep at night?”

Ha Charlie! Easy for you to say because you know Laura will cook FOR you.
Seriously though, I can’t count the number of times I finally sit down to eat and I am no longer hungry. Yet somehow I manage to “force” myself to eat dinner anyway. I don’t cherish the idea of trying to bring myself perilously close to hurling as a dieting technique, but whatever works I guess.
I chew gum while I’m cooking…
