Hallelujah – praise be to the swiftly tilting planet! Fall temperatures are back here in the mid-west and I say none too soon! It’s time for a break from sleeveless tops, short shorts, mini-skirts, sundresses, and son of a beaching bathing suits! Can I get an amen?

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good sunny day, I love the beach and the pool, and even a little sunburn (don’t tell anyone about that okay.) BUT it’s time for a little wardrobe reprieve so every back roll, thigh punch,cudge,  and upper arm dangle isn’t on full display. Turtle neck – I love you.

I’m not saying I’ve decided to quit the pursuit of healthy weight and stong body but I AM saying a little autumnal respite from “body concious” clothes is well appreciated. I’m saying this is the main reason I can’t see living in a hot climate year round – when do you get a break from showing skin?

Now go forth to don those long sweaters, giant fleeces, tights, and cardigan twin sets! HAZZAH HAZZAH – IT’S FINALLY SEASONALLY APPROPRIATE TO COVER UP!
