I am a big believer in taking small steps to achieve your exercise goals. You can't expect to do everything in a week and most people try to do this. You really have to crawl before you walk. For instance, start walking then go up to a jog or start lifting ver y light then increase your poundage. Don't be afraid to modify exercises you have difficulty with until you feel more comfortable. It's all about progression.

Going from "Hello Jello" body style to "Lean, Mean" body style and I did it in baby steps. Thanks you guys, You motivated me. Just wanted to share. I started out with eating right, for me, eating less, I already ate fairly well, just ate too much. My portions are much smaller and I don't deny myself anything. I can always have a couple of bites without the world stopping!..

I also started out on doing three minutes a exercise, four times a day and adding one minute a month. I am now doing five minutes a day, four times a day and on the first will be going to 6 minutes, four times a day. That's 24 minutes a day. Yeah. My plan is to start next year with thirty minutes a day, but cut back to three times, so I am actually doing ten minutes at one workout, three times a day.
Does this sound like so little to you? NO, I am 67 years old and fighting an illness that whips me down. So, don't say you can't do it. You can. Even if only in baby steps. There is a great change in my body and my feeling about life and soon I am moving outside to do some of my exercise. The illness I have is rare and no treatment available but it is 80 percent better since I started paying attention to what I eat and how much I try to move. I think I have it on the run after 7 years of misery. It is PRP by the way. So, hang in there. You never know what can happen, when you take the bull by the horns.

I just wanted to encourage those who have limited abilities. Do what you can. It will slowly make a difference. BTW..My weight is almost normal now. Just making those small changes in my diet. Sure it took a year but if you plan on being here anyway, you might as well make a change for the better. Start today with baby steps. Eat less and move a little more. Just do it. : )
