A New Outfit! And Top 10 Movies of the Decade
Do you like our new digs? We’re ending the year (or is it starting 2010) with a new blog design. We hope you like it. It’s like this – sometimes even if you’re not at goal weight you just HAVE to buy a new outfit. We aren’t the weight we want BUT we want to look nice. So new blog look – same old weird blog writers. And now apropos of nothing – my Top 10 Movies of the Decade!
I am a longtime viewer of the movie review show “At the Movies.” I loved Siskel and Ebert. I even stuck with it after the guys who weren’t Siskel and Ebert took over. I remained a loyal viewer through last season when the two guys named Ben were the movie critics. This year, “At the Movies” has two new hosts, and out of loyalty to the show I decided to give them a chance.
The new hosts were listing their top 10 movies of the decade. One of the reviewers recommended “an obscure Turkish film.” This led me to think; I’m out. It also led me to compile my own top 10 movies. Read more..
