Helping Our Kids Get Healthy and Get A Room!

4

We love this video created and starring high school kids. We’re trying to help the kids win a grant to build a weight room and expand physical education classes like Pilates, martial arts, and yoga.  Our high school is in the running for a Pepsi refresh grant. Please help us give them the tools they need for lifelong health.

If you don’t know about Pepsi Refresh it’s amazing campaign where the Pepsi Corporation funds community projects based on who gets the most online votes. So while we’re urging you to vote for the weight room at http://www.refresheverything.com/mulemuscle – you can also vote for other projects. You can throw support to causes that help animals, autism, or homelessness – whatever moves you. Just log on – you get ten votes a day per email. Voting is FREE and the charities will get 1.3 MILLION dollars a month. Amazing.

Please vote everyday for Mule Muscle (our high school mascot is the Kicking Mule but that’s a story for another day.) We really need this help – our county has one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation at 16%. In addition unemployment and obesity have a strong correlation. Please help kids get healthy. Again it’s free and only takes a moment to possibly make a huge difference to so many people.

Meantime.. enjoy the hilarious video. And share it with others so it goes Viral for Votes!

We sincerely thank you,

Rebecca and Robin (class of  ’87 and ’89 respectively)
