GLEEK!

If you haven’t seen it, “Glee” is a television show about members of a high school glee club. The season finale aired this week. I am actually in love with the show. I would like to marry it.

“Glee” is a hit with kids and parents. Who could predict a television show about glee club where characters break out into a full musical production numbers at any moment could be such a sensation? I could have.

When I was growing up, “Grease” was a hit in the movie theaters. It was about a high school in the ’50s where the students could break out into song at any moment. We used to stage the entire thing in the back yard with neighbor kids playing the parts. My little girlfriends all got to be Sandy, and the lone neighbor boy was forced to be every male character.
