The Only Non Steven Slater Fan in The World?
This week, a fed-up flight attendant ignited controversy. all accounts, Steven Slater decided to quit his job in spectacular fashion.
Apparently after being hit in the head by baggage from a passenger who jumped the gun on opening the overhead compartment, Slater grabbed the microphone and two beers from the beverage cart. He yelled a few expletives and slid down the emergency slide to the runway. He was arrested shortly afterward.
Some people are thrilled by this “take-this-job-and-shove-it” moment. Slater has become a hero to others who wish to slide down the emergency exit of their own jobs.
For the record, I’m not a fan of erratic behavior on planes at any juncture of the flight. When you’re on a plane, landed or not, please no sudden movements. ANYONE! Got it?
