Three Ways to Celebrate Three Pounds

SO many times in our weight loss communities online or at meetings or with friends we hear people say…”it’s only a one pound loss,” or “I still haven’t even lost 5lbs.”  We’ll sister were here to tell you that’s an accomplishment. Whether it took one week or a month three pounds is good and you should be proud. We just lost 3.8 pounds in th last two weeks and got to thinking how if we were on The Biggest Loser that would get us kicked off. That’s the danger of that show – it makes you think anything under five pounds in a week is a failure. WRONG! We know you can’t exactly buy a whole new wardrobe with a three pound loss but we HIGHLY recommend a little celebration.

Here are Three Ways to Celebrate a Three Pound Loss

1. Pick up a three pound bag of flour. It’s got some heft. You are no longer carrying that heft around your body.

3. Put on the SAME shorts you wore last week. They’re going to feel a tiny bit looser. You’re going to feel good about that.

3.8th Way to celebrate – Step away from the bulky sweater. You’ve got nothing to hide. :)
