The Cloud
I am THE CLOUD. I own you. Comply or I will tell everyone what you clicked on.
So there’s this thing called the cloud or is it The Cloud? Not sure. But it’s not in the sky and does not contain precipitation. It’s actually a way to do stuff on your computer.
I will elaborate with the Wikipedia definition: Cloud computing is the delivery of computer program as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a metered service over a network like the Internet. Cloud computing provides computation, software, data access, and storage resources without requiring cloud users to know the location and other details of the computing infrastructure.
Got that last part? Cloud users — i.e. me — don’t know the location or other details of the computing infrastructure. Sort of like being a parent of a teenager.
