When to post and NOT to post a selfie


My dad invented the selfie.

At the the end of every roll of film from a birthday, a vacation or holiday, my dad would take a picture of himself. This started in the late ’60 all the way up to the mid-2000s.

My dad is a handsome guy and it was agreed throughout the land that it would be a shame if a roll of film didn’t?include at least one picture of him. Consequently we have a nice record of my dad in pictures, tongue in cheek, from the 1960s to just after Y2K.

This qualifies me as a selfie connoisseur. Webster’s defines connoisseur as an expert, especially: one who understands the details, technique, or principles of an art and is competent to act as a critical judge.

I love to view selfies now and then but it has gotten out of control. Instagram and Facebook are flooded with selfies! As a selfie connoisseur, let me offer a few guidelines on when to take and post a selfie and when to refrain… continue reading the guidelines for selfies here.

    Some people today really don’t know the essence of selfie. They take pictures without even thinking if they look good at it. At least have the decency to check if these photos are ideal to share.
